Mercy

God of mercy

To You I come, a sinner poor,
And wait for mercy at Your door;
For, Lord, I’ve nowhere else to flee;
O God, be merciful to me!

Chorus:
God of mercy, hear my cry,
I have nowhere else to fly.
All my hope is in Jesus;
God of mercy, in You I trust.

To You I come, a sinner weak,
Scarce knowing how to pray or speak;
From fear and weakness set me free:
O God, be merciful to me!

To You I come, a sinner vile,
Upon me, Lord, be pleased to smile.
Mercy alone I make my plea:
O God, be merciful to me!

To You I come, a sinner lost,
Having no worth in which to trust;
But where You are, Lord, let me be:
O God, be merciful to me!

It’s at times like these when I feel like a little girl and just really really miss my Papa, because I know he will protect me and comfort me at least for awhile. I remember I used to cling to my Papa’s hand and leg when I was younger. Seeming so much taller and bigger than I- most often he keeps me close by him and comforts me whenever I may be alarmed. This then reminds me that my Father is above and always with me, so when I feel so lost I can just call out to God and He will listen and comfort me. His hand is on me and I want nothing more than to be able to stay by my Father’s side
It’s time for a visit
